Neutrals are our bread and butter when it comes to our branding and overall favorite color schemes. Naturally I was SO excited to work with Erin + JP when they told me they wanted a neutral-toned wedding day!

These two chose the Montage at Laguna Beach for their venue, a personal favorite venue of ours to get married. This blog has been a long time coming because we planned this day back in 2020! It was a beautiful intimate day with 35 of their closest friends and family.

Details

When Erin + JP told us they wanted their wedding to feel like a fun yet luxury party, they were speaking my language! Erin had her bridesmaids in champagne formal dresses which looked AMAZING and accented the other neutrals of the day.

One of my favorite elements that we did for this wedding was the pampas grass photo wall accented with a neon sign of their last name, ‘The Coltons’. I loved the outcome of this so much!

Ceremony

Erin + JP wanted a WOW factor for their wedding ceremony. This meant splurging on a gorgeous floral arch from Third and Park and a live harpist from Two Towns Entertainment. This ceremony was seriously something straight out of a dream! Something about the ocean view, bright green terrace, and the neutrals create a timeless combination when it comes to color schemes.

Reception

As the autumn sun set, the reception area was candlelit and had such a cozy vibe within this micro-wedding. Intimate speeches and special first dances kicked off the night while dinner was being served. All 35 guests had an absolute BLAST at this shimmering wedding reception as they danced the night away.
