Shortly after getting engaged, Natalie and John knew they wanted a romantic getaway for their dream Laguna Beach Destination wedding. Traveling far from their home state of Texas, they were excited to be celebrating at the beautiful Montage in Laguna Beach. This couple wanted to have a fun-filled weekend with their guests. The wedding began on Thursday and was followed by a farewell brunch with 60 of their closest friends and family.

Getting Ready

Natalie started her morning bright and early with her silk pink-robed bridesmaids at the bridal suite. The bride-to-be wanted to make sure she had lots of time to enjoy her morning after getting ready. After some gorgeous getting ready shots, Natalie was eager to get married.

Natalie’s ‘something blue’ was her baby blue Jimmy Choo heels which accented the navy and blush accents of the day.

Laguna Beach Wedding Ceremony

Natalie + John wanted their big day to be beachside on a warm August day. The sun was shining perfectly for their 5pm ceremony. A breathtaking floral arch by Bloom Box Designs perfectly accentuated by the Pacific Ocean behind it.

Natalie walked down the lush petal-coated aisle to the man of her dreams with her father by her side.

Details

This Southern couple wanted to ensure they had some photos together at the Laguna Beach cove located right beneath their ceremony space.

The bride flaunted her new last name, Dyar, on her cathedral-length veil.

The couple had one very important element they wanted incorporated into their big day—their beloved dog Banks. They honored their pup with their custom seating chart and many other small details throughout the day. Additionally, guests found their name on a laser-cut outline of their dog with their table number.

Reception

Following the picture-perfect ceremony was cocktail hour while the newlyweds finished up their photos. Guests enjoyed signature drinks outside before heading into the reception hall. When it came to details, Natalie and John wanted a ‘WOW’ factor for their gold-embellished celebration.

The couple had their first dance as a married couple surrounded by their closest friends and family. And a live band performed for the night as guests joined the couple on the dance floor. It’s safe to say that the far-traveled guests had a lot of fun celebrating Natalie and John at their Laguna Beach destination wedding.

The couple wanted to include their dog, Banks, in many creative ways. Check out the cake and John’s shoes!
