The two got married this April tucked in the enchanting Malibu hills at Calamigos Ranch. This spring season brought out Southern California’s colorful florals that contrasted against the rustic wooden features of their venue.

First Look

I always recommend my couples to opt for a first look. This creates more time to spend at their cocktail hour and complete all family photos quickly. Brigette and Brian had a private first look and said their personal vows to each other before the ceremony.

Ceremony

Of the many differing areas of Calamigos Ranch, the couple chose the Oak Room to best encapsulate the enchanting vibe of their colorful ceremonious day. The two tied the knot in front of the drizzling waterfall underneath a cascading color-filled floral arrangement from Mirabel Floral Design. The ceremony was seriously something out of a movie!

Cocktail Hour + Reception

After the newlyweds walked back down the aisle, the wedding guests made their way into the indoor cocktail hour bar. Custom napkins and a glowing neon sign “Better Together” added modern and personal touches to the venue’s rather rustic-charm.

Guests found their seats at round tables with vivid floral arrangements and hand-painted scenes of the couple’s favorite places. These were the ‘table numbers’ which indicated to guests which table they were to be seated.

Brigette, Brian, and their guests dined and danced in front of a large glass wall with embedded geometric wooden frames. This indoor space is one of my favorites at Calamigos Ranch because it lets in so much natural light!

This colorful Malibu wedding was SO gorgeous and involved a lot of sweet thoughtful elements. Brigette + Brian were a dream to work with, as well as the vendor team that helped execute a perfect day:
