I’m so excited to share details from Erin + JP’s beautiful Montage Laguna Beach wedding that took place just last month! Erin + JP were supposed to be married in the Bahamas but COVID had other plans for the two of them. From my initial conversation with Erin about what she was hoping for, I was beyond excited to help bring that vision to life.

Firstly, Montage Laguna Beach is a beautiful 5 star resort right on Pacific Coast Highway with the best ocean views. If you have not gone for a visit, go ASAP.

Our design consisted of a neutral color palette, loads of pampas and a modern luxury touch of elegance. In addition to the neutral color palette, touches of gold added some sparkle. (Take a look at those gorgeous bridesmaids dresses).

Ceremony and Details

The ceremony was short and sweet due to very intense winds but it was absolutely perfect. They exchanged traditional vows and took part in a wine box ceremony. A wine box ceremony consists of the couple writing letters to one another and closing a wine box to open on their one year anniversary. Erin + JP also had 30 of their closest family + friends write letters to and put them in the box to read when they open the box.

Let’s talk about how the details of the day were some of my favorite. At the ceremony Third and Park create the most perfect circular arch. Also, the acrylic ghost chairs had greenery aisle arrangements with touches of pampas. Then the reception was transformed into a boho luxury dream. I am in love with the crystal chargers and endless candles. Can you think of a dreamier Montage Laguna Beach wedding?

Romantic Photos + The Party

Despite it being windy and a bit chilly, Erin + JP snuck away to the beach for beautiful sunset photos with Kartsie Photography. And we cannot ignore that dreamy bouquet Erin is holding, created by Third + Park.

During the beach photos, guests enjoyed cocktails and took the best photos in front of the pampas wall pictured below. Lastly, this pampas wall with a neon sign was insanely dreamy and unique. For example, I’ve seen a ton of beautiful flower walls and even hedge walls. However, this pampas wall has been an all time favorite of mine.

In conclusion, this Montage Laguna Beach wedding was an absolute dreamy day. Looking at the photos always has me wishing I could go back and relive this day.
